Imad Lakbabti|عماد لكبابتي

I studied data science at INSEA in Rabat, finishing an engineer’s degree in 2024, after two years of preparatory classes at CPGE Ibn Timiya. Between 2022 and 2024 I was a data engineer at Wemanity, building ETL pipelines for enterprise clients in construction and asset management and deploying data services on AWS and Google Cloud.

Since then I’ve worked independently. Nineteen contracts, a hundred per cent job success, and enough hours on retainer that most of my work now comes from clients extending rather than from new briefs. The through-line is the same in all of it: something arrives in a shape nobody can use, and it has to come out the other side clean, on a schedule, without anyone watching.

I work mostly in Python — with Claude, Gemini and GPT for extraction, Scrapy, Playwright and Selenium for the awkward sources, PostgreSQL and MongoDB underneath, and Docker on AWS or Cloud Run to keep it all running. I speak English, French and Arabic.

I’m based in Rabat, Morocco, and I usually reply within a few hours. The best way to reach me is consult@lakbabti.com.
